AI data centres are driving up demand for memory, which has begun to impact the price of SD cards and SSD hard drives — both absolutely essential tools for professional photographers.
Over time, this could lead to small price increases across the photography industry as professionals absorb rising storage costs.
But creatively?
Emotionally?
Artistically?
I remain very calm.

So no — I’m not worried about AI replacing what I do. Because my work has never been about manufacturing perfection.
It’s about creating space for real moments to unfold, then preserving them with care and intention.
